the stuff on the bottom of the tank is old sand that i couldnt get out and was stuck behind the internal box but it decided to come out when i added the water.there are alot of tiny bubbles on everything is this ok?

yea everything looks good, when you say external filter what kind is it? is it a overflow to a sump or is the box in the tank the filter? if you have a sump can we see pics of that?

ok nevermind i see its a JUWEL tank, looks like a nice little all in one tank, what is the wattage of your bulbs? p.s. all the small bubbles in a new tank are normal they will go away unless its your skimmer thats making them and you can fine tune it down the road.

gotya it a canister filter. in the future you may want to upgrade to a sump to have more room and more options but should be fine as long as you keep up with the cleanings..happy reefing

Looking good so far! Your probably gonna have to get some of that water out to fit the rock and sand. Just a heads up ;) Can't wait for more pics!
