Herbtana And Cyano Killer?

Can i use herbtana ich killer and boyds chemi clean products at the same time since i already have my skimmer off for my ich treatment?

 

I wouldn't since you would be adding 2 stressors to the tank at one time. If I remember right chemi-clean can reduce the oxygen in the tank and you have animals that are having oxygen uptake issues with the ick.

Yes avoid depleting oxygen too much in your tank, especially if you have a Tang or any large fish as they tend to need a lot more oxygen. I made that mistake in the past and lost a fish because of lack of oxygen using chemical cleaners so it def. can happen if you're turning off the skimmer. Having an O2 test on hand can also be handy to avoid such a situation, and they are as cheap as a nitrate test.

 

Can i do a water change while using herbtana?
