    Thanks mate.

Just an update, ordered 4 Hydor Koralia Evolution 4000. ITs the 240v equivalent of the evo 1050. Should be here in about 2-3 weeks. So unfortuantly for me it means I have no distraction on my uni exams, and unfortunately for you guys there will be no meaningful updates till then.

However stay tuned, cuz when i'm back. I'll have pics :)

Well, I've decided to start my cycle this weekend. We have enough old power heads lying around which will create enough flow for the cycle. Then when the new ones come they can be added accordingly.
I'm planning on starting the cycle with water taken from the four footer which is holding our current stock and a bit of squid. I was planning on having no lights for the majority of the cycle, hopefully to keep algae booms down - I used lights on my lion cycle and still have algae dramas in that tank.
I plumbed up the return pipe and finished laying the sand this week, so its getting closer and rather exciting. Shall post a bunch of pics when the water goes in :)

Pics make everything much more sweeter :p
The light is a t5 unit we had running on our old 180. At some stage it got salt water in it so you can only run one tube in it, so i stuck it over our sump.
Not 100% sure on what the unit is, but I can go check it out if you like.
(I didn't buy it, my parents did so I have NFI :p)
