    Read your other thread first.

Here are my thoughts. Tank is new and cycling, so it could be a lot of things, however the two that stand out the most are ammonia and dissolved oxygen. What's your current level of ammonia? Also, did you place that powerhead so it gives you surface agitation? Mostly this sounds like a lack of oxygen.

I put it in last night but did not get to power it up, i just took it out in case it was that which i doubt. let me throw it back in and test my ammonia i will be back with the results in 20 minutes

Then you've got very little gas exchange going in in the tank. How still is the surface of the water?

If the powerhead isn't working you can use an air pump/stone to get some gas exchange. You can pick that sort of thing up any place that sells even freshwater fish supplies.

Mmm, scratch the gas exchange then, that should be plenty of surface agitation. Unless the level of oxygen in the room was low. You could open the windows for 10 min to try that one out. I might be out of emergency ideas now. :/

Wait, so you just got it working or it's been like that for a while?
