Middle compartment has Filter floss purigen and chemi pure
I also have a koralia nano power head

when I blow off rock things fly every where and the filter floss gets some of it but sadly most just settles back on the rocks.
is it best to blow off rocks then do PWC or can I blow off rocks and use some sort of temporary filter to capture the particles/polish the water?

What is the best way to go about this?

Either way is effective. I would suggest getting more flow in the tank to suspend the detritus so it is more likely to get pulled into the filtration.

Do you have anything at sifts sand? I know my YWG can be a pain when he decideds that HIS sand needs to be blowing everywhere. One day it will be fine and the next day looks like a sand storm hit and I just mumble under my breath and walk away. I had to put a filter sock on to help when he does this and now it looks like it for a day and the next its back to being clear.
