help with fuge!!!!!

    ok i am setting up my fuge and what i am doing is definatly not working.... Iit is a side sump and i was syphoning one from the tank into the fuge and then one from the fuge to the sump... it was filling my sump way to quickly and my pump could not keep up... any help would be appreciated...

    You need to come off the OF to a T. Then one side of the T you run to your sump and the other side you connect to a valve then run to the fuge. Set your fuge right beside the sump and raise it a little higher so you can let the water drain by gravity back into the sump. This will call for a hole to be drilled in the fuge so you don't have to take water over the rim. Your fuge should only be running 1/10 of your tanks water volume (55 gal tank/ 55 gph) through it every hour so that is a slow trickle not a fast flow.

    thanks otty.... can my fuge be on the oppisite side as the sump as my electrical is on that side.. and what size should i make the whole in the fuge?
