That Google search box at the top right of your home page is there to help answer your questions without you having to make a new thread about them every time.
Every time someone on here asks a question that has already been answered a hundred times it makes it that much harder to do research because you have to go through a hundred posts about the same thing. It also costs more to run this forum the larger it becomes so before you start a thread look it up. I am sure you will find your answer. But if you don't then ask we will be happy to help. 8)

 

Awsome, Vinnyboombatz. So, if I wanted to know more about drilling a tank, I would simply type in "tank drilling" and hit enter. Sounds too simple, but I'll give it a try. K+ to you, sir!

I always search a couple of places & google before I ask, which I guess is why I don't ask much around here unless I just can't find the answer after a couple hours or if it's a question of personal opinions. I sometimes even google to answer other people to double-check my answers!

Not another one of these threads. Seems redundant don't you think! There are just as many of these as duplicate questions.

 

And yet people still don't do it. Go figure. Also I did a Google search on Google search and came up with nothing. If it is redundant I will delete it.

 

Now you're seeing the massive problem with searching the forums that anyone else who tries for another issue runs in to. This thread has come up many times, but it's just impossible to find stuff via the search.

 

And use Tags

Thanks Vinny - actually using search is indirectly in the welcome email if they look at the tour link. However, perhaps I will add a direct mention as well.

Every time you post a new thread, you have an option to add relevant tag words. PLEASE use this feature. Not enough people do frankly.

Tags help find what you are looking for more easily. You can find the tag cloud on the right side of the homepage or board specific ones at the top of every board.
