I have a 50g reef tank with 2 zebra barred gobies, 2 gold stripe maroon clowns, a sixline wrasse and a pink spotted watchman goby,a sea cucumber, cleaner shrimp, various snails & hermit crabs, come lps corals and a few mushrooms.
Just wondering if you can suggest some interesting new fish that would be compatible to the current livestock in my 50g reef tank. Thanks for your help!

I would consider Chromis or other fish that will swim in the upper portions of your tank. The clown and wrasse may not be very welcoming of new fish but getting ones that swim in the water column and in the upper portion will help.

Agreed. Also those two Maroon clowns may not take a shine to any new additions.;)

The maroons are small, 1 inch to 1.5 inches, and have been in the tank 3weeks. They each have an small anemone they host. I was hoping that since they are young/small that I would still be able to add a nother small fish or 2.

Anybody have any experience with royal dottybacks, purple stripe dottyback (pseudochromis diadema) or red honey damsels? Good, bad or other? Never owned one and I'm curious what they are like. I'm basically just looking to add a pop of color to the tank. Thanks for your help.

my 2 yellow tale blue damsels were in my old 50. its a risk though they are very aggressive and should be added last, i was lucky and they each found opposite ends of the tank to live in so they would not really fight. its a very colorful addition but a very territorial fish. you could consider a dwarf angel perhaps but keep in mind they are quite delicate.

Def not another damsel, 2 in that tank is more than enough. Maybe a royal/orchid dotty back or maybe a cardinal would work as they seem to stay in the upper part of the tank.

If the 6line isn't set in you may be ok, but I'd be prepared to pull anything new.

IMO, your tank is already fully stocked, I would not suggest any more fish for this tank.

Agreed, but in my opinion and orchid dottyback wouldn't hurt. but be cautious.
