just noticing some of your inhabitants. sea horses are tough to keep . low flow and places they can grab onto. specialized diet also i believe. star fish will only have a chance at survival in an established tank. im guessing the large blue one is a linkia, can be exceptionally tough to keep alive. your params have to be rock solid. please let us know when this tank was started , and if it has cycled. and as kacy said, what are you params, they could be the telltale sign of whats going on.

Yeah, deff Aptaisia, AKA Glass Anemones. Bristle worms are like bees - some people are much more sensitive to them than others, and some sting worse than others.

Pipefish and mandarins are similar to seahorses in that they're specific obligate feeders. You need to have a very healthy established tank with a large refugium to provide enough copepods and other microfauna for these fish to thrive. Some of them can be tempted into eating frozen brine and mysis shrimp, but it's on a fish by fish basis and not exactly common.

Also, many seahorse species are more cold water or temperate, rather than tropical. They can easily be stressed and suffer from infections if kept in too warm a tank. There are tropical seahorses tho, so without knowing the exact species I can't say if that was ever a problem.

Also, I have heard aptaisia can in deed kill smaller fish, they pack a powerful sting and can hurt you, so I don't doubt they can kill and even eat many smaller fish. They certainly can irritate most fish.
