I'm not liking my light bulbs. They way they are placed in my fixture makes my water look cloudy or hazy. I don't know anything about lights, so I just stuck the bulbs in. How would you arrange them?

    I have 8 bulbs:

    1 fiji purple
    1 day light
2 special blue (or something like that)
    4 blue actinic

    Thank you! (+K) :)

It seems like you need more day light bulbs 10K, might have to much blue.

Sorry Kacey, but I think you overdid it on the blues, however try:
    Fiji purple
    1 special blue
    2 atinic
    daylight
    2 atinic
    1special blue
Anywho, IMO get some more daylights, 3 daylights mixed with 3 atinic your special blue and fiji purple

Well I didn't pick out the bulbs. I told the person who picked them out for me that I like the bluer look. Maybe I'll get one more daylight to stick in there.

I really do prefer a bluer look. I might get one more daylight bulb to stick in there. It's just the hazyness that bugs me. I'll try moving the bulbs around and giving my glass a good cleaning!

Hm One thing to try since you like the bluer look, Run everything back up to the back of the tank, acts - daylights, Thats how I run my tank, I have 2 acts in the front and two daylights in the back.
