help plan my wholes for drilling please.

    i agree it would look great.im just worried about 200gallons of water flowing all over my floor.

    Let me know if you drill your tank im actually going ot attempt drilling my filled tank in a few months before I move, im interested in how you decided where you put your returns at. Thanks

    Let me see if I get this right, your tank is already filled and your going to try to drill it? Is that right?

    Yes i am moving in 3 months and going to take the live stock out of mine and then try to drill it.

    Y not empty it if the livestock is out?....my overflows will most likely be corner overflows

    Cause I would really like to see if its possible to drill a full tank. Are you putting the overflows in yourself?

    i have seen it done twice one time worked the other not so much lol.yes ill be doing the overflows myself.

    any 1 ever drilled this many holes on the bottom of their tank?

    this is a tough call. i do plan to keep an anemone or 2 in this tank(i know the risk care involved) so im leaning twards the closed loop.but i like the battery back up capabilities of a vortech. plus the lesser cost and lesser holes.
