    Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please !!!
    I have a 20 gallon saltwater tank for almost 10 years and I have only one fish in it .... maroon clown fish ..... He is 6 years old !!!! Water is perfect , but nitrate to high like 20 (before I did rapid water change)..... but my fish is used to it (20 nitrate)...... he was perfect just yesterday !!!! now he is laying there ..... still breading , but laying on the side ....... just change a water by 80 % , maybe I got him poison some how ????! but how ???~!!!!!! is it possible to poison by iodide ??? I dont know what is going on ((((((( if I could only go to the store to buy a new water I will spend like 1000 $ I love that fish !!!!! I am crying ...... what I can do for him .... Is anyone here close to Brigdeport CT ????? and still not sleeping ????
    HE DOESNT HAVE ANYTHING on his body !!!! only thing I can see and its unusual ..... is anus ..... I dont know swollen ?? just a bit like little bubble ..... (thats the best I can explain )

    Not an expert, but I would set up a quarantine tank, same as when receiving a new fish. new water, no lights and somewhere for him to hide

    he has a lot of place to hide ... I have a lot of live rocks ...... just stoped power head and small carnister filter working as reactor ...... only keep skimmer on and power filter .... change all media ...... I need someone with an extra tank like now .... in this moment !!!!!
    I dont have any extra established tank :(
    please if there is someone close to Brigdeport , CT ...... I will pay a lot !!!! for help

    I am crying ..... my best pet ever !!!!!! I dont know if I will keep my tank :((((((((((((((( any more !!!!!!!!!!!!
    good night its almost 3 oclock in the mornig for me .... a least he wasnt alone :(((((

    dont use Iodide by kent marine I think this is what kill my fish !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot came up with anything different ...... maroon clown fish should live longer then 6 years !

    Sorry for your loss. :cry:

    FTR, I've never dosed iodide. You should never dose anything for which you are not testing and/or do not know the level in NSW.

    And yes, a little too much iodide is lethally toxic.
