For some reason my Sunny D palyps are struggling they have been growing slowly over the last few months. The palyp heads are U shapped and there necks are extreamly elongated. Anyone have any experience with this before? Maybe to much light?

I would venture to say not enough light, but I am not the softy expert. I'd dip them too just to be safe. I've found, atleast with SPS, that dippin when they start to not look normal usually solves the problem.

Not enough light is why they elongate like that and my guess is the chalice has been kissing them at night or just the chemical war fare with the surround corals so they don't thrive....Move it away from other coral to see if that makes a difference.

These guys once established, they grow FAST, but not as fast as the eagle eyes..
