    overflow is making alot of noise.
    is there any way of reducing the noise

    Sorry can't help if it was a nano I would tell you to raise it above the max line, but ill comment so it bumps you back up

    If you have over flow tubes.. Take a piece of air tubing like the 1/4 inch kind and stuff it in the over flow tube and find the sweet spot to make it stop the Sucking bath tubb noise. Once you found the sweet spot tape or find someway to hold the tube in place..

    This is a way to quiet down some overflows, I don't know if it will work in your case, will need more info about your exact setup to be more help. Pics always help too.

    Do you have a standpipe? If not thats your problem. There are lots of DIY articles on standpipe building and they are simple and cheap to build with a couple $$ worth of PVC, thats it.
