    No stray voltage! I'll test it again when my fiance gets home in case I screwed up or something.

    ok just did it again. Reading fluctuating between 0.33 and 0.5. What does that mean?

    Was the heater on when you checked the last time?

    Unplug it and test the water again.If it is gone throw that heater away and get a new one.

    Ok, unplugged it and got basically the same reading. Fluctuated around, but the highest reading was 0.47.

    I would start unpluging things 1 at a time and retesting till the voltage went to 0.There should be none in there.
