okay.. so im getting a new marine tank (I've had a freshwater tropical tank for quite some time but i thought id step it up a bit) the tank comes with everything. including:
    2 percula clowns
    1 blue/yellow damsel
    1 brown tang
1 talbot damsel (its tail is missing but apparently its healthy)

    the tank is 150L

i was wondering if i could get maybe a Bicolour dottyback or a firefish. but im not sure of the compatibility or if they would be okay in that size tank.

    thanks heaps. :)

IMO, the tank is ALREADY overstocked, especially with the tang.

I agree, although if you re-home the Tang, you may be ok to add one more fish. I would go with a Dottyback over a Firefish though, since you already have 4 Damsels. A Firefish would have to have been added first IMO.

    Welcome to 3Reef!

Please don't get too zealous, and overstock with fish right away.

I good rule of thumb, (not set in stone), is 1 fish per 10G- ~40L; and add 1 at a time, and about 3-4 weeks apart.
It's got a lot to do with the biological filters keeping up, etc.
