Current Nova Extreme Pros are good choice to start with, but don't necessarily cost as much as the Aquatic Life fixtures mentioned above.

It was given to me by a friend but he can't remember what kind of bulbs they are

 

That's a bit pricey plus I want moon lights attached to it

 

Have you thought about a DIY LED fixture from Rapid LED? That will be cheap in the longrun.

 

I have considered it but I honestly have no clue on what I would be doing

 

Aquarium 24 LEDs Dimmable DIY LED kit with optics I have been looking at that. Would that be enough to light my entire tank with corals and clam?

I've heard people talking about getting that DIY fixture from AquaStyle. There is a whole thread about it somewhere on here, but I didn't see any of the finished results (one people put them together). If you do go ahead with it, I would suggest the 12 white, 10 blue, 2 uv.

I think they use bridgelux LEDs. I think you will be fine. Corals and clams.
