I need to choose a calcium reactor for a large system something around 700gal total with heavy SPS and Clams in the future. I'm interested in feedback suggestions about the various manufacturers/models. I'm interested in quality and reliability.

I like the Aqua-C. Their canister is much easier to replace media than some of the other makes and models. Twist off tops are nice, the thumb screw types can be a pain.

Go with a geo. Works great for me even though my system is not 700 gallons.

What ever you go with plan on a second chamber so your effluient isn't returning to the tank with low pH and your making use of the CO2. I like KNOP reactors.

geo's are easily one of the best. They have been making them probably longer than anyone, and the way they are made, they also use less CO2 than other designs.

You can't beat their customer service, and the craftsmanship is simply amazing.

They make a unit big enough to handle 700g's.

Mine is a smaller one and it still can do 300g. Keep in mind that if it is undersized, it will still work just fine, but you will need to replenish the media sooner.
