Help in Northern VA, Richmond

I spent all day plumbing my sump/fuge. I just stepped on my overflow tube for my eshopps overflow box pf-1000 and cracked it. i was hoping to let the PVC dry tonight and start it tomorrow.

anyone know where i might be able to get a new one within an hour drive of Fredericksburg va tomorrow???? i found a replacement on Dr Foster and Smith but am really bummed i cant start it tomorrow.

 

Could drive up here to wisconsin to get it from them haha...

But best of wishes... If i where closer Id try to help, but no clue about the stores around there!

thanks, i will definitly call in the morning, looks like a place i might want to check out anyways. we have 2 small decent LFS's here in the fredericksburg area so i havent ventured much outside, getting most of my equipment online

not sure how bad you crushed the tube, but if you have some aquarium sealant you could apply some over the split, let it dry a few hours and give it a try. I have one like this and it make a good spare

 

its cracked pretty bad, just picked it up to look at it and dumped some water on my keyboard....... not worth trying to fix. if i cant find one tomorrow i'll probably just bend some left over flex tubing in an U just to see the sump work. obviously i cant let it run without standing in front of it but at least i can make sure the plumbing is good, and see how loud it is in case i want to adjust.

Allright ;D I just called my LFS here in Richmond and they say that they have one in stock. As an added bonus, you will be blown away by this place. Incredible selection, healthy stock, and beatiful tanks including a 1200gal mixed reef and a 900gal mixed reef.

I did find one, i went to Aquatic Obsession yesterday morning in Mananas. pretty cool place, although there current fish selection was kind of low.

gotosleep: i was almost headed down there to Richmond yesterday i called them as well, but right before i left i gave this place a call, it was a lot closer. i am going to have to take a trip down there though i would like to see that store, was impressed with their website too.
