Hi i'm new to this forum and also new with saltwater tanks... I just put in a LR in my tank and noticed 3 stuff on it:

    1. First one is like 2 hair like tentacles coming out from a hole or tube... i search the forum and i think its a "spionid Worm". can anyone confirm this?
    heres a pic.. [IMG]

    2. Second is this thing that looks like a starfish... is it harmful?

Hi and welcome to 3reef first of all!
As for your pictures, yes the first looks like a spionid worm, second one is an Asterina star, while the third is a species of porifera I believe(sponge)!

cool... thanks for the links! i didn't take out the spaghetti worm and the foraminiferan, but i did take out some of the asterina star.

Got a new problem though .. i see a few greenish planarians in the tank. I tried to siphon some of them but they keep coming back the next day. The tank is still cycling, no fish or any other stuff on it other than the spaghetti worm, and the sponge. Do you guys know any hints on what i should do?.. just keep on siphoning?.. and hope they'll go away?
    -Thanks!
