    Hi all,
I've been looking everywhere for a clear netting but I couldn't find any. Unfortunatelly BRS does not ship to my country so I've been looking for an alternative. Do you think I can use a black netting? Will this one be ok?

The holes in mosquito nets are too small and it will block too much light.

black netter will cut yor par by alot too.honestly you have any friends in the US. I would ship it to them then have them ship it to you. one bag of the stuff will go a long way. Also talk to the LFS in your area and you might be able to sell it to them.

As far as I know it's not the color that blocks the light it's the size of holes, that's why I can't use mosquito net for example. The net color is matter of aesthetics.
Most people here are still using glass and plastic covers for their tanks (for some reason, rimless is still not popular) so I doubt my LFS will buy any, but yeah, asking a friend from the US was my next step :)
