Ok, I dont know what the test result means.

But I would try to test your fresh salt water and see if you get an accurate reading.
(Just to test the test kit)

Keep us posted on what you find out

I get a cloudy color too. It matches the 0.0ppm color but it is not clear. Your looks really white. Is it expired??

It not so much when you bought them because they could have been sitting in a warehouse, then the store for quite some time. Here is a post that tells you how to check the exp. on API test kits. From your picture I believe that is what you have.

Also ammonia is a two part test. Got to put drops from both A and B bottles.

Did you put any de-chlorinating water treatments like Amquel or similar product in your tank? These are known to render most Ammonia tests useless.

Everytime I did my ammonia test, that's the color I got, I think it means 0ppm. I know my kit was working b/c I cured some live rock and got a reading on the ammonia.

I had the same results from my API Ammonia Test - identical to yours. I'm calling the company in the a.m. to see what's up.
