yeah eating it. my Goniopora is all sucked in and the damsel keeps nipping at it. Is this normal? If so the damsel is getting flushed. Please help.

and i fed yesterday. so i know it is not hungry. params all in check. had my water tested friday at the LFS, so i know that is not the problem. I moved my goniopora yesterday to a lower flow area. could this be some sort of territory thing?

I didn't get him at a store he came with the tank. and what am i supposed to do with him in the mean time, I don't have two setups, and he is slowly biting all the "tentacles" of the coral.

protect the goniopora with a container upside down over it. lots of slots for water movement through it. then take the damsel to an lfs for store credit.

I will try to protect to goniopora, and I cant get the fish anyway. it goes into hiding at the sight of the net. looks like reef deconstruction is inevitable. my sump is not set up yet.

Get him out asap and just bring him to a LFS, even if you dont get anything at least your not killing him.

yeah, I don't WANT to kill it, I can't even catch it, without tearing down my reef anyway.
