    Hi everybody Im completely new to this hobby but am patient and ready to learn. I have decided to go with a 125g setup (they say tthe bigger the better) and have alot of ideas which i won't get into here

    Hi, Joining the site

    Hi im michael a recent hoby of mine includes fish. I already have a wide 29 gal fw aquarium with about 5 rams and i honey gourami and a kehole cichlid. Wanted to add something interesting there. used rocks from the river and cleaned and boiled but still am not growing the beneficial bacteria. Need help for that. I also want to start a 55 gal reef tank. Can i please have some info on how to do that i know how to cycle but need better info on reefs and corals. can i put coral i found on the beach in there and then pput anenomies on top or what. thanks:confused::confused::confused::confused:

    1st. How do you know your rocks arnt covered in benificial bacteria??
    Its not visable, your not going to see it.
