So, hello every one. My name is kimberlee, I'm not new to the hobby entirely, but I'm less than a year in. I visit a couple other forums. I think I might be limiting the info by not branching out though.
My tank is still young only 7 months old, and not completely set up yet, well not the way I'd like it to be. My husband got the tank for my b-day, and I only planed on keeping fish, so thats how my tank was planed. I thought reef sysems were only in public aquariums. Than came the day petco's fish selection wasn't enough and I walked into a reef store. At that point I started rebuilding my tank, and it became the center of my world. My husband now competes w/ the tank for my spare time.
It's not much, but I love it. I have taken my time, and been reasonably successful.
My tank is 55gal, w/ 4 54watt T-5 bulbs, a modded seaclone skimmer, 3 under powered power heads, and my home made fuge. Sump is in progress now, and the tank is way under stocked at the moment.
Stock includes coral beauty, 1 black blenny, 2 baby onyx clowns, 2 emerald crabs, a handful of hermits, and several snails. And my GBTA, which the clowns have recently decided they like, sounds like a good reason for a pic

I wanted to post a better 1 but I'm missing the cord for my camera. I'll post them as soon as I find that cord though.

Thx for the welcome. I've been poking in here a little over the last week, and I really like how much info I see in the threads. I,m also very lucky things seem to grow well in my tank, I already have a couple of frags I started w/ that are nice little corals now. Mostly LPS and softies, and 1 birds nest that is doing great, but I think I'll stay away from most of the sps for now

Awesome! and that might be the best idea...your tank isnt considered a "fresh tank IMO(older than 6 months) so as long as you do your research i dont see why you cant start adding what you want :)

I bet you regret asking for more pics, if you don't you will soon enough. Thank you for the great welcome. I'm excited about this forum, like I said I checked it out before I singed up. There's real promise in the threads that I can learn form the people hear, ant what I've come to love about this hobby is it makes you smarter if a person is serious about it.
