    i need a major upgrade on the lights!
    i have a single 35 watt 50/50 bulb that i added some led light strips to.
    i im getting a tiny bit of coraline growth?! i was realy supprized!

    But the next up-grade are the lights then finaly corals!

    I know i want Leds, but i may get some inexpensive 4 bulb T5 fixture to get things started.

    Looks goo to me so far and the fox fqace threw me off in the first pics of it, BTW how small was it when you got it?

    imo, if you want leds, do it first. t5s for that tank are gonna run you a few hundred bux that you will wish you saved toward leds cuz those puppies are NOT cheap! if your minds set on leds stick to it, youll kick yourself in the face shelling out couple hundered for the fixture and new bulbs (stock ones are not that great) and that can be close to a 400 bux when all is said and done for a timer and that stuff.

    You cant go wrong with either but in this hobby, its worth getting the best first time around. saves money, time, and headaches. just me 2cents.

    @rc: i added the foxface about a month ago. he was about 2 1/2 inches when i got him and hes pretty much still the same size, maybe a tad bit bigger...

    @Snookn: your right about the lights, I just havent made the jump to buy the DIY Led kit yet lol

    I feel ya bro, i wanted to do some too before i got t5's but im scared to death of f'n it up. All though I think i could do it, ive seen folks around here do it with same knowledge as me. but on my tank, a cheap t5 does the job. if i had the funds it would be leds all day, lol.
