As you can tell by my user name, I have not been in the reef/coral keeping business for long (about 5 months). However, without having a clue as to what I'm doing or the type of corals I'm purchasing, I have to say that I've been very lucky. I do have plenty of books and reference materials, so I'm not totally blind anymore. I'm also new to internet forums, so do I just start asking questions, or what? What are "Trackbacks"?

Thanks for the FAQ link! Some of the corals I have are zoe (I think that's plural for zooanthid), carnations, brains, a Kenya Tree, Red Sponge, some grassy lookin' stuff, mushrooms. I pretty much look at them in the store and say, "I want that one." Then come home and read about it. I haven't killed any, yet!!!! Dead fish, that's a whole other story.

Good to have you here! Try bringing a good book to the LFS with you next time or buy on the internet so you have time to do the research beforehand. I am sure someone on here can recommend a good website.

    Welcome to 3reef!
I would refrain from adding any more corals and go slow. Learn about and enjoy what you have now!
    Best of luck to you!
