    I decided to join this board to expand my obsession with reef keeping. Some of you may recognize me, I think I already see a few familiar faces too.

    I'll be working on updating my avatar and signature and all that good stuff in time. In the meantime here's a history on me. I live in southern california and have been intrigued with saltwater tanks since 1992, when I was 10 and my father had one in our dining room. Flash forward to 2009 and I finally had the time and money to start one up for myself. Now I have a sumpless 55 gallon wide mixed reef tank that is slowly becoming SPS dominant.
