    I haven't and I'm missing one! :furious3: :uhoh: :cry2:

There's no place in the tank that fish could go and not be seen. Inhabitants are
4 hermit crabs, 3 nassarius snails, 1 cleaner shrimp, 1 coral beauty and 2 perculas (used to be 2 anyways). I dont think there is anything in there than would consume that fish entirely. This only leaves jumping out of the tank as far as I can think. /shrug

I'm starting to feel like I take one step forward and two steps back with this hobby :(

You would be surprised as to were they can hide. Have you checked the overflow and your sump/Fuge?

Yeah, my wife and I scanned the whole system for 30 minutes this morning. (sorry were late boss). I hope that he's hiding (it's the smaller one who's missing) somewhere but I think that kitty had a midnight feast.

Feeding the tank doesn't produce any results in your search either?

I've had fish get sick and hide for a couple of days and then magically re-appear. I've also had fishes that died and were completely consumed and the body was never found. Hopefully, in your case it's the first situation as opposed to the latter.

Well I found him, i feel just absolutely awful. He was traped inbetween my glass and the lights. There is a gap there just big enough for the lil guy to get through. What are teh chances of that. What a shame :( :( :(

    RIP dude.

OMG! You're not going to believe this. Since I found my perc trapped on my lunch break yesterday I figured "I'll just wait till after work to fix it up and all will be well". I came home from work yesterday to find the female perc dead too due to the same business D: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needless to say I had some new glass cut and now the whole tank is covered. I'll never leave a gap on that thing again.
