Yes my heart felt HBD Steve.

I know it's cliche but it's the only time I get to use it.

Thank you Casey for the thread

thanks to you and everyone else for the birthday wishes

I am 49 this year, but instead of feeling 1 year older, I feel at least 10 years younger

approx 12 months ago, I began to become really concerned over my weight and general fitness levels

I weighed in at 200lbs and at 5ft 9 inches, that is Obese by anyones definition

I now weigh in at 150 lbs, and have been purchasing new jeans on a bi monthly basis, going from over 40 inch waist to now having slack fitting (they would fall off without a belt,) 32 inch waist

a mix of sensible eating and as the weight started to come off, introduction of exercise
walking, jogging, running, cycling, badminton, swimming and recently some light weight lifting ( looking to get bigger, but with lean meat and muscle , rather than the blubber I had before)

so it has been a very good year for me

reef tanks are still doing well, I still find time to care for my charges , perform water changes, etc etc

hopefully now, I have achieved my aims in terms of personal health
I can find more time to sit down, read and type again on this forum

    Steve

Those are no small accomplishments, it takes an immense about of will power and fortitude. You successfully changed your life style, I applaud you. And to do so when your middle aged even hardier. World domination is next!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic example for the little Steves in your life.
