Haiti's Deadly Earthquake

I know I shouldn't post about politics but I just had to get my point across. Sorry mods:-X
I didn't even know that the "pact with the devil" was actually a real accusation, I thought that he was hypothetically speaking.

But back to the topic of the thread, my family and I are doing all we can to help out. The red cross is also accepting tinned foods and clothes in Trinidad. I don't know if they're doing the same in the states.

 

I just want to send out a reminder that political posts and personal attacks are not allowed. I will continue following this thread so please keep posts on point.

I lost a friend who was a volunteer in Haiti and also an acquaintance (a friend of a friend of mine). I have one other friend that no one has heard from yet so I possibly know 3 Americans who've died down there. In spite of that danger, I have 5 other friends who are heading there right now and they are just an "Advance Assessment Team" who will coordinate when we'll probably send 40 or 50 people.

We should help in Haiti because it's right.

 

It doesnt matter who suffered a earth shattering earthquake, the point is that they need help and its in our power to do so. We should always help out our fellow man. Isnt that what we do here(3reef)?
That could have easily been us in those shoes.
