Oh, so sad. I couldn't finish reading it - but I will.

 

Wow, I didn't know about all the different types of donation methods. I thought that the red cross were the only org.

 

There are many ways. We should all give as able, this is a very poor nation and right now the lives of thousands depend on the kindness of others.

In refference to the part in bold...Haiti as a country signed a pact with the devil when it gained its independence, stating it would rely on satan to guide them.....

As for the rest of the non-sense, I hate to see anyone die, and I am normally the first to save a life (It is my job) but this is getting out of control. The rest of haiti that wasnt affected is in no way even attempting to help, nor is the Dominican Republic. And there is a reason for that. Maybee instead of spending millions on another country, we should attempt to fix our own problems HERE IN AMERICA first.

I'm sorry for any offense this throws out, but I'm just getting sick of the run-a-round we get here in America but we have millions to dish out to others....

 

Yes I agree with Haiti signing a deal with the devil when they DEMANDED their independence.
But when your own kind, "the human race" is in need of assistance, you sacrifice yourself to help others.
No offence tanken but America isn't the only place on earth in economic trouble. The entire world is in a recession.
At the time of the wall st. crash, Trinidad and Tobago (a THIRD world country also in a recession) gave $100,000,000 to help you out. and our Gov't wouldn't even fix our roads or give everyone running water in their homes but they can gather up 100million to give to a super power nation.
Agreed, the Dominican Republic can and should help and the fact that they don't could cause a rural outbreak between the two islands. But that problem is neither mine nor yours.
One must keep in mind that Government will do what they have to do to gain a security blanket among other countries to secure themselves in the event of war by man and by nature.

 

How was America founded? I seem to recall reading about this little tea party that happened a while back.... oh, also, the Revolutionary war, and all the demands we made against the British, for our independence... couple hundred years later, here we are.

As this forum doesn't allow political / religious debates, and I don't want to clutter the thread with endless posts, I will simply say I think you are one pathetic individual. Especially if you actually believe something Pat Robertson said. There is no evidence that "pact with the devil" ever happened.
