hair algae need help now!!!!!

    I have tons of hair algae cant get rid of it i got a lawenmower blenney and still have it please tell me there is a way to get rid of it with out draining the tank.

    get your water cleaner...run some gfo in a reactor or hang on ..

    use rodi reading 0 tds

    increase flow,,eliminate dead spots..

    we'll need some more info from ya. such as all your water specs and your cleaning routine info. lighting, filtration style/design/equipment.

    We need to find out the source of the hair algae in order to treat it effectively.

    get nitrate/phosphate down(since you didnt give specs im going to assume you have them) and reduce lighting. thats it.

    uh lets see 75 gal. ,sump ,protine skimmer, my water is nitrite 0, nitrate 0, ph 3.2, amonia 0, water change 1 a week. thats all i know kinda new at this.

    yeah your tests will show 0 since the algae is using it all to grow..

    make sure your skimmers working, cut back feeding, cut back lighting, do waterchanges with rodi water 0 tds, increase flow, run gfo in reactor or hang on filter..

    beef up clean up crew and you can increase your sand bed..

    how to u have 0 nitrate 0 nitrite and 0 amonia is that posible:confused:
