GSP Buy or Leave it?

    yeah the gsp will be for a pick up from a guy that lives couple minute from my house.
    so its just 40$ for the rock.

    I got a gsp off this forum for $15 shipped. It was two day shipping. When I got it I wasn't sure how it'd do. I left it in a bucket for a couple days cycling water thru it. Within a few days it was thriving and today it looks great. Probably the heartiest coral I've had. I'd say keep looking. It's not unique enough to pay $40 for. I'd prob go $25 but no more and on cl, the guy may take that

    I agree as well.

    Personally, I won't put it in my tank anymore. I tried that once in an old tank and the stuff took over. Yes, you can isolate it, but if you let it go too long by forgetting to trim a patch, then you are in for trouble. GSP kills many nice sps and other corals, so IMHO, it's not worth the $$ for that piece, nor worth the risk in your tank.
