I bought this piece that was a trade at a lfs. It's definitely a green slimer but the growth on it is odd bc it doesn't look as though it has branched upwards. The center is the original frag and all the new growth is almost like a plate. My question is if I frag this will it branch like a normal slimer?

I figured it was something simple like that, I'm planning on fragging a couple of the flat pieces.

Yeah just give the frags and colony more flow and more light. A. yongei is not an Acro for the bottom of the tank
