green hair algae

    :confused::confused: i got huge rock with gsp and noticed some green hair algae what should i do shold i try to fight it or take it out

    Take it out! If you have no hair in the display don't put any in. It is easier to fight it in a QT if you have one or make a simple one and treat with Algaefix or some other appropriate formula. I have passed up many a nice coral because I spotted bubble or hair on them.

    No, i am currently using it in my biocube and have in the past with no problems.

    you can also take the rock out and scrub is intell it's off.
    That stuff is nearly impossible to get rid of once you have a tank full.
