    Not sure what you mean by coerce them. Do not try to force the clowns into the anemone. Clowns can succumb to the nematocysts of an anemone just like any other fish. Forcing them into it will likely kill them. The Clowns build up a slime coat against these nematocysts by gently brushing up against the anemone over time. Let nature take its course!!!!

    I think what was meant is that the female clown is trying to get the male into the anemone.

    Heres an update!

    She's in there, and keeping him out
    He's doing the expected twitches to acknowledge she's the boss.

    Been doing intense clown research... Can't wait to see if they breed!

    I've always had great success just feeding my clowns near the anemone's.....They usually get the picture......helps if you feed with a syringe...
