    OK, im going to try this again. Im Leaving in the in 8 hours to go to Texas for about a week. I have these bubbles all over my rocks and they seem to be getting worse as time passes. I have looked at pictures of green bubble algea and I dont know if mine is it or not. So I need help.



    PH: 8.2
    Temp: 78
    NH3: 0
    NO3: 0
    NO2: Undetectable
    Phosphate: Undetectable(running phosban and changing it for over a week)
    Ca: 440
    Mg: >1200

    livestock.
    Juvinile powderbrown tang, fed mostly nori and broccoli.
    CBS
    Xenia, Hammer, Zoos, Yellow Polyps, Candy cane, featherduster.
    pods and a starfish in refug.
    Huge ball of cheato I have to cut in half every 4 days.
    Lighting, aquatic life t5ho. 10k 8 hours daily, actinic 12
    skimmer: coralife 65g. pulling good skimmate every 4 days.
    I am running phosban in a reactor and changing it every 24 hours to try and suck out those undetectable phosphates which I just know are in my system.
    oh and I have a ro/di with tds 5 from ro and 000 from di..

    Looks like a toss between 3 things.... Cyanobacteria, filament algae, or Diatoms... All can grow if i am not wrong from excess nutirents in the water... Cause = over feeding , low water flow in thoes spots. Or no skimmer or skimmer not working properly..

    Fixes = water change cut feeding back from your normal feeding to every other day or more..

    Keep in mind just my crusty 2 cents...
