Holy mama, 25$ for a valve?! I'll just get a check valve and reverse it when I do a PWC to stop flow.

I built a cabinet for my gravity feed. I bought a bulkhead and ball valve for 1/4" water line. I drilled a hole in the bottom of my bucket and the shelf that the bucket sits on and run the line to the float valve. One thing to keep in mind is to make the hole in the shelf big enough for the valve to go through so you can remove the bucket without draining the system. I didn't do that at first and had to go back and fix it.
