Got my new light...yehhhh

    I love it got ;D my new light in the mail, it is the sunpod 150w mh light with a 15000k bulb. I swear the coraline just got more purple and the lights only been on for a few min. but the horrible part follows, the stupid bak pak is throwing out a million micro bubbles and you can really see them now :angry: I wish I could buy a urchin, but i am so broke that I can't even pay for food, I am regretting spending 9$ at burger king :-[

    :) Enjoy your lights.

    BTW, the coralline didn't get more purple, it appears more purple because of the spectrum/color temp. of the 15K bulb. Your corals should look a bit different too. Hammers, some mushrooms, frogspawn, and others will look more phosphorescent in the bluer light.

    thats, cool. I am happy because now I will be able to get a few corals. I just wish I didn't lose my anemone, i should have know better not to have bought one with my poor light conditions.

    nice pick for the light, it sucks being poor and in this hobby, I can't afford anything either, but I still find a way to bring things home from the lfs

    yep all my hobbies are expensive ones, my cars 71 dodge, 81 benz, antique radios and then the saltwater tank.

    hehe, you are going to be very happy with those lights :) but you might regret it when it comes time to replace the bulb ;)

    what size tank is this?
