    Maybe its because its in a 48" tank and the thing can hardly swim?? Idk just my thoughts.....

    thats what mine had too, good for 2 weeks eating and then all of a sudden sick aaaaand then dead. i never figured out what it was good luck hope you make him all better.

    This may sound mean, but I agree. Some fish need larger tanks. Smaller tanks results in more stress on the fish. I give the same advice to people who ask if they can have a tang in their tank. It depends, but sometimes, the fish needs more room, and the stress manifests in a lowered immune system and disease. Hopefully though you can figure it out. Try treating its food with melafix, that should help with any bacterial infection.

    OMG sorry i ttly forgot to post but he died a week ago. came home on sunday from a weekend being away and he was stuck to the power head! I was crushed because I had him eating and he came from peland which suprised me even more! And the pics I still are having issues downloading them. I know photobucket but I really dont want to sighn up for an account. Haha sorry though I know what it feels like when people dont post! And I now know I wont try and MI again until I get a bigger tank like 200+ because now i know whaty the results will be. Died from a bacterial infection.

    And I also agree with you guys on them needing a bigger tank so for now on my advice will be a 200 gal+ tank.
