Just one quick note.. Before you download ANY apps to your phone, make sure it works fine with your model handset. Remember, the Android Market is for all makes & model android based phones & I have see phones become bricks. Some you can recover, others must be swapped out. Besides that you'll be getting FC "force close" errors, meaning the app has crashed or the phone's OS is crashing. Before downloading any apps, read the comments! There you'll see if anyone else has had any issues.

How do you copy and paste?
I haven't figured that one out yet...the old phone was easier but sucked in too many ways.

I was thinking about getting the moron test glad to hear it's fun....so I'll be getting that one.

How do you unistall stuff like the ap killer. I'd like to see if my battery will last longer w/o it, as stated in an earlier post.

Good to remember...I didn't with the first few but have since looked before leaping so to speak...so I know what's really behind the rankings and the issues with the app/ or the app/phone combo as I've been reading.

Apktor is an app from the market you just have to add repositories found on the internet and you can download them similar to a market.

lol... Not a bad idea. I can get discounts for Sprint customers depending where they work & such. Anywhere from 10% to 30% off your monthly bill.. Let me look at it tomorrow at the office. It used to be super easy to add, but they changed it. I work the service department & not the billing so much. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Ok, I can finally sat down & come up with the first list of good android apps as promised. ;) All apps are free, unless they require payment for a full version.

PKT Auctions - Great eBay app
    Pandora - Music Streaming app
    Craigsnotifca - Great Craigslist app
Handcent - Great text & MMS message app
Edwin - GREAT APP!!! Allows you to speak to your handset & it will respond. "Ask it to spell a word, do a math problem, what's today's weather, translate English to Italian & more!!!"
aCar - Keep detailed logs of you vehicles.
Air Horn - Just great to annoy people
    ASTRO - File manager app
aTrackDog - One program that tracks the version updates of all the installed apps on your phone. You can even uninstall them from here.
CopyCatLite - Old school Simmon Says Game.
Fantasy Guru - Yahoo Fantasy app for all sports.
Go!Chat - Facebook Instant Messager App
Music Blaster - MP3 Download app.
Music Wizard - MP3 Download app.
Music Downloader - MP3 Download app.
Marine Weather - Marine weather app.
    SirusXM - Satellite radio app.
    Percent Calculator - Calculate percentages.
    Real Blackjack - Blackjack app.
    RingLert - Ringtone app.
    Ringtone - Ringtone app.
    Zedge - Ringtone app.
White Noise Lite - Relaxing sound app.
Wifi Analyzer - See who's leaking Wifi
Tip Calculator - See how much to tip someone.
Talking Tom - A cat the repeats what someone says & response to your touch.
SoundHound - Move over Shazam! SoundHound will tell what song is playing within 5sec. It will even tell you the name of the song that someone hummed!
Super K.O. Boxing 2 - Reminds me of Mike Tyson's Punch Out! The data files it needs it about 100mb & you need a fast processor. This game is GREAT!!!!
Scanner Radio - Police scanner for pretty much anywhere!!
Sandstorm - Modern Combat Sandstorm, great graphics. The data files it needs it about 70mb & you need a fast processor.
Beautiful Widget - Want the HTC clock with the moving weather. You can now. The original was an exact copy, until HTC filed a cease & assist order to the author. The author then changed the weather graphics. Still good, but the original was amazing. Well worth the $1.98, plus it come with other tool widgets.

This should keeps you guys & gals busy for awhile.. ;)

I'll post more next week. Enjoy!

copy and paste is easy to me - all you have to do is hold down your finger for a second and the menu comes up. Might be a sense though (incredible).

Also, gameboid is an awesome app. Let's you play gameboy advance games. There's also an app that takes a gps location and makes your phone silence in a movie theater etc automatically. I forgot the name of it though.

Edit: also, shuffletone 2.0 which can randomized your text sound and/or your ringtone.

I found the COOLEST app last night! It's called Lightning Bug. It has various relaxing scenes (day and night) and has relaxing sounds that go along with them. Waves, wind, birds, thunder, rain, etc. It is so fun! You can install the "plug in" and access more scenes that cost 99 cents. I bought the beach and forest scenes as well. Last night I fell asleep to the waves...it was really relaxing!!

You can black out the screen scene to save battery life too, and still have the relaxing sounds going.

It has an alarm clock feature too.
