Can anyone tell me how to acclimatize my eel to full marine from brackish? Just got my new 55 gallon and want to start it out marine. He's at a Sg of 1.015 now. It'll be a month or two to start up my tank, in the mean time i'd love to get him going. Any ideas?

I had a green spotted puffer that I raised the salinity in its tank to full marine. Read somewhere several times online a while back not to raise it more than .002 per week because it can kill the bacteria and stuff in the tank. Not sure if thats true but I just did it to be on the safe side lol. But if you're just going to move the eel from a brackish tank to full marine you can drip acclimate him into the new tank like you acclimate new fish and inverts. Hope this helps!
