Today I woke up to my my pink spotted goby with my peppermint shrimp's tail sticking out of it's mouth! I'm debating whether or not to keep it. I really like peppermint shrimp as well as others, but i'm afraid that he might eat the shrimp that I put in there next! What do you guys think I should do?

If it fits in his mouth...

Personally, I think the goby done you a favor as peppermint shrimp have been known to kill LPS corals and short-tentacle anemones, but too each his/her own. Talk to your LFS. They may let you trade the goby for a smaller specimen.

I know it wasn't a molted shell because there was a piece of shrimp meat on the sand bed.

I'll ask what they can do.
