    It's about time!

Game 4 score 6 to 1 Rangers go to the World Series after wiping the floor with New York Yankees

We may not be able to get the Cowboys to go to the superbowl but our other team pulled thru.

As far as series wins go, last time I looked the Yankees won 3 of the 4 series played against Texas. Go Yankees, 27 time world series champions. Good luck in the World Series.

Not to go off topic here, but if the MLB Salary Cap actually had any substance, the Yankees wouldn't be "The Yankees". Now, back onto the subject...well done Rangers, with a $55 Million salary (which includes payments for A-Rod), taking down Goliath with a $200+ Million salary. Congrats to the Rangers...and now I have to have the Giants win, so we can see arguably, the "most surprising" World Series in recent memory.

Yea, I agree. I want to see the Giants do it too. I was born and raised in the Bay Area and went to candlestick all the time. I havent been to the new staidium though.

I'm from LA, so I despise the Giants. I went to Candlestick when I was 8, dressed in full Dodger gear, and the Giant "fans" (insert another word) threw beer and yelled obscenities at me...at an 8 year old. Good fans you got there. ;) Still would rather have them than the Nation League Yankees...I mean Phillies.

If a team with a 55 million dollar payroll can beat a team with a 200+ million dollar payroll, than maybe salaries should not be an issue. Most major league teams make money. Some teams make an honest effort to put some of their profits into providing their fans with a quality product. Others just don't or won't. Don't be angry at an ownership that knows how to make money and at the same time provide their fans with a quality team year after year.

And my problem with that statement is this...they break the rules set forth to make it "fair." In hockey, if you exceed the salary cap, you cannot play until you drop the salary. In baseball, they fine the team a % of the overage, which goes into the pockets of MLB. Teams that don't bring in $1 billion, can't complete with "rules" like this. I don't hate the Yankees for it, they are fine with breaking a rule that has very little consequence.

Go Rangers!!! Yankees are worthless. In game 4 they should have taken away the homerun away when that trashball yankee fan slapped his glove away. Rangers for the win!
