    Hey 3reef!
I"m setting up an anemone prop tank and I need to glue some eggcrate to a rubbermaid stock tank for a skimmer area. Will silicone or weldon16 work? Anything else?
    Thanks

I would try the silicone first. I don't believe the weldon will work on the egg crate and tank walls.

I would try to use the silicone first, also, what is an anemone prop tank? Is it just an anemone tank?

No, its like a frag tank for bubble tip anemones. I abbreviated propagation to prop.
But will the silicone stick to the plastic stuff the rubbermaid tank is made of?

pretty sure silicone will hold it.
if im understanding what your doing correctly there should be no pressure pushing on the eggcrate so you should be good to go.

There will be a bit of flow around it, buy nothing majorly strong. Will silicone stick to the plastic though? This tank is not glass, its like the liverock bin at Amazon Stingrays.

Can't comment on the glue but just FYI, I have had small nems squeeze through eggcrate.
