gluing down frag rocks

    I want to know if it would be ok to glue down a frag already on a small piece of rock to a bigger piece with silicone? It's 100% silicone, didn't know if when wet and not cured yet it would be bad for the tank. thanks

    I would use epoxy as you need to let silicone dry before you get it wet.

    For glueing coral frags on plugs, I use this.......

    For rock-on rock I use Water Weld.. Luna

    Lock-tite superglue gel.. put a little on the rock in the tank, then on the bottom of the frag.. place, hold 10-30 secs.. your done.. just glued some frags down yesterday, works like a charm!

    Just regular superglue gel? Isn't that dangerous to put in with your fish, etc?

    Nope, but you need the Super glue Gel, regular is to thin and wont work.

    Am I understanding this correctly. Can I glue something done while its in the tank? Or do I have to pull it out of the water and then wait for it to dry to put it back in the tank
