    So i was looking into building my own tank just cause i think the reward of being able to look at it and say i actually built that would be awesome. But for the price i got quoted i think ill buy a premade one does anyone else think that $1600 for a 60x60x21 tank it to much?

    That's not a common size tank - so it must be either custom made - or only high-end aquarium manuf. will make them - in either case - you should expect to pay top dollar for a tank of those dimensions!!!

    And by the way , a 5' cube would be SIIIIIIIIIICKKKK!!!!!

    Thanks yes it will be custom made by me :) but need to find a place where low-iron glass isnt as costly maybe a local shop so i can inspect and have them drill all the holes :)

    Oh and it will be rimless forsure and braceless possibly :eek:8) lol

    I think their pricing is not too far off, however you could check into Miracles out of Toronto Canada they do custom build to your specs. Also I think a 5' tank is going to need some bracing. JM2C ;)

    Thank you and I thought it might atleast need a euro brace but needed some opinions on that part.
