My 80 Gallon, semi-aggressive tank is now cycling. I was going to do a cube tank for this but a used 80 with a partially built stand (has no doors but everything else is there, including a power center) came my way for less than $200 and I couldn't pass it up.

More later, I'm at work and expecting a new shipment.

    Pics soon, I PROMISE!!!

I already have a snowflake eel, and a falco hawkfish. I also have a pair of Bluejaw Triggers that we're keeping in the store until my tank is ready. I'm going with reef-safe predators so I can add corals when the itch strikes, which you know it will...

I really want another predator tank, I miss my trigger tank sometimes

Maybe when I move, for some reason I really want a lionfish tank

OK, so here's how we did it.

    1-CPR Deluxe Siphon Overflow w/aqualifter
1-DIY sump made from a 29 gallon tank
1-Mag 7 return pump with a SCWD to alternate the return
    1 Filter sock
1 Sponge to remove the bubbles from the skimmer
    50 lbs diy rock
    50 lbs base rock
Used Protein Skimmer--looks like someone made it, but it works GREAT---we tested it at the store for a week before I bought it for $35.

I still need to light it and add some flow. I'm tossing around the idea of a Tunze wavebox but $$$$$ may prevent that. I can always add it later. As far as lights, I'm probably going with a Tek-6 T-5. I'll only ever keep softies and LPS in this tank anyway. The SPS tank is next!

They are so very pretty and fun to watch when you have more than one in a tank. I hate target feeding them though (we have a no live food policy at the store).

There are some advantages to a part-time job, and you get to pick up the nice items that come in! Sounds like this will be a great tank-
