The best way to get anything that leeches into rock is to give it an acid bath in a solution of 10:1 water to Muratic Acid. The acid will dissolve a layer of the rock, best way to get the rock clean. People use both bleach and acid baths to clean their rock, but IME bleach just lengthens the process. Once the rock is clean and white, just rinse, and let dry.
